Bats

We align with, but are not governed, sanctioned or affiliated with ASA standards for bats
Game Balls are provided by the league
GTSS leagues and tournaments are played with a 12" .52 COR 300 lb COMP ball - "Hot Dots" are our preferred ball
The Field
Bases are 60 ft
Pitching Stripe is ~50 ft from the front of home plate
An outfield line will be sprayed in an arc from foul line to foul line. This is the closest the outfield is permitted to be before the ball is hit
The designated infield area will be confirmed before the game. Players designated as infielders will need to remain in this area before the ball is hit
Any special field conditions (out of play zones, hazards, etc) will be discussed between the captains and umpire prior to first pitch
The Orange Safety base at first is out of play for fielders. Base runners should aim for this part of the base when running through the bag
Home plate AND the strike mat are considered in play for both runners and fielders
Avoid collisions whenever and as much as possible!!
